What is Clinical Psychology?
Clinical psychology is a health specialism involved in the care and treatment of mental and physical health problems.
Clinical psychologists provide comprehensive mental health care to individuals, families, and groups; as well as consultation to organisations and communities. Clinical psychologists are often active in providing supervision, research, and training.
Clinical psychology draws upon science, theory, and clinical knowledge in order to understand and treat mental health difficulties.
Most of my individual clients are seeking therapy, but if you think that an alternative approach might work better for you – be that in the form of group work, community engagement, or self-help – then get in touch for a free consultation and I can help you to find the right support.
